How we compared
We checked prices, stock and specs on 4 October 2026 on Croma, Amazon.in, Nykaa, Flipkart, Tira and each brand’s own website. Where a brand’s global page and its Indian listing disagree, we quote the Indian listing and say so. We left out marketplace star ratings for imported devices because most of those reviews come from buyers outside India.
Four questions matter most when you buy IPL in India: can you actually buy it here (with service and warranty), does it suit your skin tone, what does it cost over a few years, and how much control do you get (levels, attachments, sensor).
Philips Lumea: the best-known name, at a premium
Philips sells the Lumea IPL 8000 (BRI946/00) in India through Croma at ₹38,999 (MRP ₹47,999). It has 450,000 flashes, 5 light settings, three attachments and the SenseIQ skin sensor, and comes with a 2-year warranty plus a third year if you register within 90 days. Philips also offers demos and Try & Buy in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Higher Lumea models (9000, 9900, Prestige) are mostly unavailable or sold by importers on Amazon.in at ₹51,000 to over ₹1.2 lakh. Philips’ own skin-tone guidance varies by country, so check your skin type before you buy. Read Signaxo vs Philips Lumea or Philips Lumea alternatives in India.
Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 and Pro 3: most control, patchy availability
The Pro 5 has 400,000 flashes, 10 intensity levels with 3 modes and the SensoAdapt skin sensor. Braun says it suits skin up to type V (dark brown) but not type VI. The Pro 3 has 300,000 flashes and 3 levels. When we checked, Braun’s official India listing (sold by Procter & Gamble India, with a 2-year warranty) and Tira were out of stock. The in-stock Pro 5s on Amazon.in were imports at ₹59,000–₹74,000. See Philips Lumea vs Braun.
Beurer, The Plush Co. and Remington
Beurer IPL 10000+ (₹12,990 on Amazon.in) has up to 250,000 flashes, a large 7 cm² window and a 3-year warranty — the longest here. The Plush Co. was the top seller in Amazon.in’s laser hair removal category when we checked; its Ice Cooling model (₹24,499) lists 999,999 flashes, 5 levels and a 12-month replacement warranty. Remington i-Light IPL6250 (₹39,995) has 150,000 flashes, 5 levels and a skin sensor.
Signaxo IPL: the lowest-cost way to start, with Cash on Delivery
Signaxo’s three IPL devices — Shine, Flow and Wave — cost under ₹10,000, ship across India in a few days, and come with Cash on Delivery, 10-day returns and a 1-year warranty. The trade-offs are honest ones: a shorter warranty than Philips, Braun or Beurer, and no published flash count or energy figure yet. If you want to try IPL without spending ₹40,000, it’s the lowest-risk start. See all Signaxo IPL devices.
Ulike and other imports
Ulike (Air 3, Air 10, X) isn’t officially sold in India — India isn’t on Ulike’s shipping list, and the Amazon.in Air 3 listing was unavailable. Imported units won’t have Indian warranty support. See Ulike Air 10 in India. Flipkart and Amazon.in also have many unbranded “999,999 flashes” handsets under ₹4,000. They often have no clear brand, warranty or skin-tone guidance.
Is any IPL right for Indian skin?
Yes, for many people — but not all. Every brand here says IPL works best on light-to-medium skin with dark hair. Most Indian skin tones fall around Fitzpatrick types III–V. Types III–IV usually suit at-home IPL on a low-to-medium setting after a patch test. Type V needs extra care, and type VI should choose a clinic laser such as Nd:YAG instead. Use the IPL skin tone checker and read our IPL for Indian skin guide.
